Ode to Sleep

Oh sleep
I miss you more
than my old belly button

My longing for you
heavy
like our very first diaper bag

I wear my badge
of undying love
under each eye

Come back,
I promise
not to toss you aside
like I did in my twenties.

    I was just wondering about the belly button and if it ever really goes back to how it was...guess this answers my question.
